We are looking for a trailer mechanic with various skills to join our team at CTM Cryogenics (Complete Truck Maintenance ltd). We’ve been in operation out of Markham, Ontario for 40 years as a family-run business servicing the Cryogenic and Compressed gases trailer industry. The position will be full-time and will receive very competitive wages and a benefits package. Wages to be discussed based on skillset and experience.

We are looking to hire an individual with the skillset and experience of working as a trailer mechanic to join our team! These include but are not limited to:

  • dismantling air brake systems and trailer electrical systems
  • Assembling trailers air and electrical systems from start to finish, and ability to test to ensure proper and safe completion.
  • Identify air brake system problems and repair as needed
  • Experienced in use of hand tools, wrenches, drills, grinders, torches, etc.
  • Experience in ABS Wabco/haldex systems and roll-stability programs
  • Knowledge of brakes/bearings needed.
  • **Asset, but not required: 310J License

Additional Scope of Work:

Due to the strong diversity of skillsets needed for servicing these trailers, we also have all our team members cross trained on multiple positions in our company. We ask that the new candidate be receptive to being cross trained in one of the many diverse areas that may include one or more of the following: (note: training on these additional skillsets would be provided on the job).

  • Assembling new trailers or dismantling old trailers
  • Welding or fabrication
  • Quality Control
  • Forklift operation
  • Valve & pipework
  • Shunt Truck Operation
